Organization Mission:

Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. We partner with people throughout the community to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Our partners are able to achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families. We make the dream of homeownership a reality.

Description of Volunteer Opportunities:

We utilize regular volunteers on our Construction Sites (various locations around Will County) and at the Joliet ReStore (Habitat for Humanity resale store). We also rely on volunteers to assist with the special events throughout the year. Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals and groups Tuesday through Saturday each week. No construction experience is required, all training and tools are provided.
