Organization Mission:

Collaborate with community leaders and partners to assess, educate, fund, and advocate for best practices that promote mental wellness and prevent substance misuse among all residents in DuPage County. 

Description of Volunteer Opportunities:

The PLT is an adult, community-wide coalition working on substance use and misuse prevention, recovery and mental health initiatives. Reality is the teen coalition that feeds into the PLT and offers high school aged students opportunities to connect with like-minded peers, work on community betterment projects, and assist with prevention activities throughout DuPage.

Minimum Age Requirement:

Teens who volunteer can attend monthly in person meetings and hear from subject matter experts, advocate for prevention policies, and participate in community betterment projects. Adults who want to volunteer could present to Reality teens, or join the PLT coalition.

Skills or Experience Necessary:

Ongoing
