Skills or Experience Necessary:

Skills in public speaking, customer service, organization, and educational techniques. Knowledge of or interest in American, Illinois and Naperville history. Ability to develop and organize creative educational experiences. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Ability to work with children of all ages.

A commitment of 9 weeks during the summer is required. Position begins May 31, 2024 and ends August 4, 2024. Bachelor’s degree in elementary, secondary or special education with teaching certification preferred. One year of experience in a related field required. Previous museum, childcare or teaching experience preferred. Must be 18 years or older.
