Organization Mission:

En Español is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to empowering children, immigrant families, and young leaders through accessible education and community service. Through STEAM education, English-language learning, bilingual literacy, and youth leadership programs, we create opportunities for people of all backgrounds to learn, lead, and strengthen their communities.

Description of Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteers can support a variety of educational and community programs, including assisting with children’s STEAM activities, tutoring English-language learners, supporting bilingual literacy and book donation initiatives, helping at community events, preparing educational materials, and mentoring younger students. Volunteers may also help develop new service projects based on the needs of the communities we serve.

Minimum Age Requirement:

10

Skills or Experience Necessary:

We welcome volunteers who are compassionate, dependable, open-minded, and excited to serve others. Strong communication and teamwork skills are helpful, but no previous experience is required. We especially value volunteers who are willing to learn, take initiative, work with people from diverse backgrounds, and bring their own interests and talents to our programs.
