Organization Mission:

Beautifully EmpowHERed (BE) is a Naperville-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering women and teen girls through mental health support, career development, mentorship, and community connection. We provide free and low-cost resources that help women heal, grow, and thrive while creating opportunities for young people to make a meaningful impact through service and leadership.

Description of Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteers play a vital role in supporting The Shop at BE, our nonprofit resale boutique that funds mental health and empowerment programs for women and girls.

Volunteer responsibilities may include:

• Sorting and organizing donated clothing and accessories
• Hanging and tagging merchandise
• Assisting with visual merchandising and store displays
• Restocking the sales floor
• Helping customers shop and find items
• Preparing inventory for online resale platforms
• Supporting special events and community outreach activities
• Assisting with donation intake and organization

Students can earn service hours while gaining valuable experience in retail operations, customer service, merchandising, nonprofit management, and community engagement.

15
