Amanda J. Long, Au.D., is a Regional Manager of the Great Lakes region for Advanced Bionics, a manufacturer of Cochlear Implant hearing technology. Prior to joining Advanced Bionics in 2010, she worked at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and saw both pediatric and adult cochlear implant patients, as well as provided a variety of pediatric audiology diagnostic and hearing aid services. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, and her Doctorate of Audiology from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. Amanda grew up in the Naperville area, attending Neuqua Valley High School. Today, she is back in Naperville, IL, and enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris. They keep busy with their two children; Catherine (8), who enjoys sports of all varieties, including soccer, basketball & dance, and Austin (5), who is into soccer & swimming. In any spare time, the Longs enjoy getting away to Michigan City, IN, with the entire family, including their dog, Lily, for some time together at the lake.
