Organization Mission:

Our mission is helping people of all ability find their way back to God.  Front Porch Church is specifically designed to welcome individuals with special needs and their families.  Our weekly services offer a worship experience that embraces all expressions and all movements, ensuring that everyone feels included, valued, safe and loved.

Description of Teen Volunteer Opportunities:

We have several volunteer opportunities during our services.  We need volunteers to welcome people and sign them in at our service using an iPad.  We need ushers to pass a collection plate and collect weekly donations.  We need musicians to play worship music (guitarist, vocalist, keyboards, other musical instruments).  We need volunteers in the Audiovisual booth (AV) to run the sound board and Propresenter.  We need volunteers to help tear down after the service.  This would include stacking chairs.

Skills or Experience Necessary:

A Christ follower!  Someone who is kind, willing to learn, and willing to be part of an amazing team. We have other team members, but would like to schedule volunteers a few weeks out.  Our services are Sunday night at 6pm.  99% of our services are at Community Christian Church (1635 Emerson Lane, Naperville), but we do move to other “local” churches when our main church is rented out.  We need our volunteers at the church from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.  If you are not volunteering on any special Sunday, we would welcome them (and family) to attend our service.
