Gina Sharp, FACHE, is President and CEO of Linden Oaks Behavioral Health, where she has served since 2013. Gina joined Edward Hospital in 1999 and has held numerous roles within the organization. Since joining Linden Oaks Hospital, it has grown to 108 beds and seven outpatient facilities and has earned accreditations from the Joint Commission with a Gold Seal of Approval in seven disease-specific areas. She has also grown the employed provider complement to over 50 providers and driven initiatives in system-wide behavioral health integration, including primary care and specialty clinics. She is the Executive Sponsor of the Workplace Violence Committee as well as the Healthy Minds Committee. In 2021, Edward-Elmhurst Health achieved Platinum Status for the Mental Health America Bell Seal Award for Mental Health Workforce.
With more than 20 years working in health care, Gina has experience in behavioral health, finance, and managed care.
Sharp is a Past-Chairman of the Illinois Hospital Association Governing Council for Behavioral Health. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Sharp participates in several community committees, including the Lisle Township Mental Health 708 Board, Impact DuPage Committee, and the Advisory Board for KidsMatter. She participates in the National Association for Behavioral Health and Chairs the Behavioral Health within General Healthcare Systems Committee. She is a member of the American Hospital Association Behavioral Health Committee, Harbor Performance Improvement Initiative, and Kennedy Forum.
Sharp earned her BS in Community Health and Health Administration at the University of Illinois-Champaign and an MBA in Finance from DePaul University.
