Organization Mission:

To collect, study, display, and conserve trees and other plants from around the world to inspire learning, foster enjoyment, benefit communities, encourage action, and enhance the environment.

Description of Volunteer Opportunities:

Naturalist – Facilitate nature-based activities in the Children’s Garden with family visitors

Gardener – Assist with gardening tasks in the Children’s Garden

Science Camp – Assist in delivering informal nature-based curriculum for summer science camp participants

Tree Monitor — Monitor trees to collect phenology data on seasonal events like flowering, fruiting, and fall color to understand how species are reacting to climate change
