Organization Mission:

The mission of Ride Assist Naperville is to improve the quality of life for Naperville seniors and their caregivers by providing safe, affordable, and dependable transportation to medical appointments.

Description of Volunteer Opportunities:

RAN is always searching for new volunteer drivers. This position assists the many seniors of Naperville by providing one-on-one, escorted transportation to their routine medical appointments. The Volunteer Driver will also have the satisfaction of knowing that they have changed lives and brought a much-needed service to older adults living in Naperville.

Minimum Age Requirement:

21

Skills or Experience Necessary:

• Have the sincere desire to help meet the needs of the elderly
• At least 5 years of driving experience with an acceptable driving record
• Own your own vehicle
• Have a valid Illinois driver’s license
• Carry auto insurance
• RAN will run a background check and ask for two references
