Lisa currently serves as the Assistant Provost of Instruction at the College of DuPage. In this position she leads teams that support all aspects of delivering instruction. This includes supervision of academic divisions, strategic planning, budgeting, program development facilitation, workforce development relationships and a host of additional items. Her responsibilities afford her the opportunity to work and collaborate with faculty and staff from across the college in support of student success. For the last 2 years, Lisa’s team has partnered with KidsMatter to deliver a Springboard Program for area high school students which first focused on Healthcare careers and last year expanded to Construction Management. Plans are underway for yet another set of meaningful course offerings this summer.
Prior to this Lisa served as the Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs for Assessment and Student success at COD. In this role, she was responsible for leading the implementation of Guided Pathways, facilitating, with faculty collaboration, the re-imagining of the assessment process of student learning outcomes, as well oversight of program review and faculty professional development.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development from Iowa State University, a Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Iowa and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies from Iowa State University. She is also a Peer Reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission.
