Organization Mission:

The Girl Scout mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. This mission is achieved through a variety of activities and experiences that encourage girls to discover their strengths, meet new challenges, find their voices, and make a positive impact on their communities.

Description of Volunteer Opportunities:

Lead Girl Scout troops (plan meetings, communicate with families, facilitate activities, etc.), assist/help with Girl Scout troop meetings and activities, teach a lesson/skill/lead an activity to Girl Scouts, staff an information table at community events, administrative tasks such as sorting supplies/collating materials/making copies/make phone calls, assist with cookie delivery, assist with summer camp activities, plan and more!

Minimum Age Requirement:

18

Patient, helpful, kind, caring, responsible, good with children, respectful, uses resources wisely, honest, fair, friendly, considerate, courageous, strong, makes the world a better place
