Organization Mission:

The mission of Bridge Communities is to transition families facing homelessness to self-sufficiency by working with partners to provide mentoring, housing, and supportive services.

Description of Volunteer Opportunities:

We have a variety of volunteer opportunities.  Ongoing volunteering opportunities are mentoring the families we serve.  Weekly tutoring with children and/or adults in the Bridge program.  Other opportunities include volunteering on committees, fundraising & special events, provide onsite child supervision at events, clerical work, sorting and stocking donations, be a member of Bridge’s Associate Board.

Minimum Age Requirement:

18

Skills or Experience Necessary:

Volunteer must be at least 18 years of age and want to serve & support those going through a challenging time in their lives.  Have a heart of compassion and understanding for those who have gone through trauma.  Be reliable and have integrity. Enjoy working with others.
