Organization Mission:

Accelerate Climate Solutions educates youth and empowers neighbors to deploy climate solutions, creating a just world and a healthy planet.

Description of Volunteer Opportunities:

Students can participate in two ways during the school year:

1. Attend regular youth team meetings to plan environmental and climate advocacy and support climate communication.
2. Sign-up for our Building Leadership Around Sustainable Transformation (BLAST) competition. The BLAST competition pairs students with mentors to develop projects that address environmental problems. Students compete for funding.

Adults can assist with administrative tasks, such as grant and donor management, fundraising, and data entry.

Skills or Experience Necessary:

Anyone who is interested in contributing to climate and environmental solutions is welcome. No previous knowledge or skills are required.
