Organization Mission:

We provide technology access and education to under-resourced youth and their communities. Our programs serve to eliminate limited access to computers, facilitate growth in technical and digital literacy skills, help provide no or low cost high-speed internet options and support the future of youth and their communities.

Description of Volunteer Opportunities:

• Students | Choose Compudopt as your organization’s service project. Set a goal! Reach out to your family and friends! Raise awareness and funds to support families in need.
• Warehouse Volunteer Day (18+) | Ongoing opportunity. Join us at our location in Downers Grove, IL to help us sort through hardware donations and refurbish computers. Typical tasks include testing monitors, sorting and wrapping cables, cleaning computer equipment, inventory, counting, and more.
• Donate a Computer | Donations help our resources go further so that we can bring technology access to more people in the communities we serve. We accept both individual and corporate donations.
• Make a Financial Gift | Just $275 supports a family in need.

Minimum Age Requirement:

18 for Warehouse Volunteering

Skills or Experience Necessary:
